Parmesan Spiralized Zucchini Fries

Instructions

  1. Heat deep fryer with oil in it to 350 degrees
  2. Wash and cut ends off of Zucchini
  3. Spriralize Zucchini (we used the smallest blade setting)
  4. Place Zucchini on a paper towel and blot as much liquid out of them as you can
  5. In a shallow pan mix in Flour, Parmesan Cheese, Salt, Pepper, and Nutmeg
  6. Add Zucchini to flour mixture and coat evenly, shake off excess flour
  7. Place Zucchini in deep fryer
  8. Fry 3-5 minutes until desired crispiness

Notes

If you don’t have a deep fryer you can use a large saucepan filled with 3 inches of oil and heat on the stovetop over med-high heat.

Make sure oil is hot before adding Zucchini, otherwise they will absorb to much oil and become soggy.

You may need to cut some of the longer Spiralized Zucchini strands down to bite size pieces. Cut to your own preference.

You can substitute gluten free flour if needed.
