Putting a unique spin on breakfast by making a Fried Egg and topping with Bottarga and Chia Seeds. This will seriously be your new go-to breakfast!
Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day. Some mornings I go for the sweets, but on others I prefer something savory, like this dish I made today!
I took a simple Fried Egg and jazzed it up a bit by sprinkling some freshly grated Bottarga and some Chia Seeds on it. Because you know me, I don’t like food that’s plain and boring. 🙂
If you’re not familiar with Bottarga, it’s the Italian name for a delicacy of salted cured fish roe, typically of the grey mullet or the bluefin tuna.
I found it at local place in Sarasota, FL called Gulf Coast Caviar, but you can also order it on Amazon, or directly from their website.
Bottarga gives the Eggs a nice salty, and savory flavor.
I hope you guys love this breakfast as much as I did! It’s:
- Savory
- Easy
- Satisfying
- Comforting
- and totally Orgasmik!
