These Parmesan Cheese Nests are super easy to make! Fill them with Risotto, Salad, or an Appetizer! This is a great Gluten Free option for a bread bowl!
I just love these cute Parmesan Cheese nests. It’s a different way to use Parmesan and cater your friends and family with style!
Serve as an appetizer using a cup as a mold (shown in pics above).
Or make as a main course by using a bowl as a mold, it’s totally up to you!
It’s very versatile and pairs well with mini Arugula, Tomatoes, Prosciutto, and a touch of Balsamic Reduction.
You could even do Shrimp Cocktail in these.
Or Artichokes and Mint Mousse… the possibilities are endless!

Parmesan Cheese Nest

Ingredients
- 120 grams (4oz) Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat non-stick medium size pan over medium heat
- Add 30 grams of Parmesan Cheese to pan making a circular shape (approximately 6 inches)
- Cook approximately 2 minutes until cheese starts bubbling and the edges are brown
- Gently and quickly lift up with a spatula and set over a small drinking glass or bowl that is turned upside down
- Let sit 2-3 minutes until it’s cooled and set
- Carefully lift the Parmesan Nest off of the glass and turn over
- Fill it with cooked Risotto, creamy cheese with chopped chive, arugula, salmon and lemon zest, or artichokes and mint mousse, the possibilities are endless
Notes
Make sure you use a non-stick pan.
Instead of making a Parmesan Nest, you can also just make them into chips instead. After step 3 in instructions, carefully flip cheese over and cook 1-2 minutes longer.
